Rooming House Plus Program is an innovative housing support program providing support and case management to people who have experienced homelessness.
- Job Description:
Assist residents to engage with current supports such as; NDIS, Area mental health services and Community health services.
Provide support and case coordination for residents, assistance to attend house activities and groups, external supports.
Foster and develop positive relationships with internal stakeholders
Assist in day-to-day operations of the program
Deliver services to clients using social inclusion and trauma informed principles
Able to work across a wide variety of shifts, including sleepover shifts
Experienced in effectively responding to challenging behaviours and crisis situations.
Team focused with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Appropriate Tertiary qualifications relevant to community services e.g. Bachelor of Social Work / Psychology, Diploma of Community Welfare or equivalent
