- Job description:
This is a diverse role, which will provide the successful candidate with an opportunity to develop various skill-sets. Responsibilities associated with the role may expand to include tasks related to practice management.
Tasks associated with the role include appointment scheduling, issuing patient invoices, processing patient payments, assisting in the with management of the practice's operations (for example, submitting stationary orders), providing administrative support for psychologists, assisting with marketing and accounting tasks, and ensuring practice adheres to legislation set out by external bodies (TAC, Medicare etc.).
- Requirements:
Able to work autonomously
Friendly, enthusiastic and hardworking
Demonstrates professionalism with regard to personal presentation, and when carrying out verbal and written tasks associated with the role
Good communication skills for dealing with patients, referrers (e.g. GPs) and psychologists
Respects the importance of patient confidentiality
Highly organised, consistently show attention to detail and able to multi-task
IT proficient
Willing to enhance telephone intake skills for booking new patients
Good time-management skills.
