- Job Description:
We currently have a new and exciting opportunity for a Community Development Coordinator to strengthen the mission, impact, relevance sustainability and viability of the Corps. The role will link with local community members who access Brunswick Corps services to identify the needs and wants of the community, and to promote services provided by The Salvation Army (TSA). Additionally, the role is responsible for the recruitment and management of volunteers for the Inner North Salvos which encompasses the Brunswick and Richmond Corps.
- Requirement:
A relevant tertiary qualification, at degree level with experience; or diploma level with substantial experience in community engagement; or less formal qualifications with specialised skills sufficient to perform at this level
Well-developed communication skills and confidence in public speaking
Extensive experience in a community services environment
Desirable - experience managing volunteers or employees
Valid VIC Employee Working with Children Check
Ability to provide proof of Eligibility to Work in Australia
