- Job Description:
As a Community Support Worker, you will be required to work a variety of shift types including morning, day, afternoon and evening shifts. The work will mostly based in the community and variety is dependent upon client needs. Positions will be offered on a Casual basis with potential for permanency for the right candidate/s, with a variety of hours being offered throughout the week.

Ability to liaise with families and circles of support, service providers and community groups as required in order to promote community understanding and awareness of people who have a disability.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure as well as use initiative to cope with competing demands.
Well-developed written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with a sound ability to negotiate in situations of conflict.
Proven ability to function as a cohesive member of a team.
Ability to write and type succinct file notes and maintain good record keeping practice.
Capable of working independently with an individual or group of people supported.
Good problem solving and decision making skills with the ability to exercise reasonable judgement.
Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software packages and databases.
First Aid Level 2.
Current Victorian Roads or equivalent driver's licence.
