- Job Description:
Provide assessments and case work, utilising holistic, person centred and evidence-based service delivery frameworks working with communities towards achieving meaningful outcomes and advocating for positive change
Assist in providing the SECL Intake, answering phone calls and enquiries, screening and assessment, prioritising and making appropriate follow up appointments and referrals
Supporting stakeholder relationships and working collaboratively for the benefit of the community we work with
Applying a disciplined approach to data entry in line with SECL guidelines and ensuring privacy and confidentiality compliance
Facilitating a culturally safe and innovative work environment that values diversity and inclusion
Actively supporting the Community Wellbeing Team to achieve strategic objectives established for the organisation including supervision of students and volunteers
- Requirement:
Qualification in welfare, social work, psychology or relevant discipline
Demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse range of people and professionals
Knowledge of contemporary practice frameworks and micro skills and a strong commitment to working in an integrated way with diverse communities
Broad contemporary knowledge of relevant services and systems that support vulnerable people, multicultural communities, family violence victims/survivors and promote social and financial inclusion
Prior contemporary experience in conducting assessments and intake role within the social services sector
MARAM training and Current IT skills in using Outlook, Word and Microsoft OneDrive are desirable
Safety Screening checks required prior to commencement of employment include:
A national police record check
A valid employment Working with Children Check
Current Victorian Driver License
Current Covid-19 Digital Vaccination Certificate
