Ermha365 exists to ensure that people experiencing mental illness and cognitive disability, can thrive in and become part of the community. We choose to work with people who have fallen through the gaps in the system and where there is no obvious support. We are often considered the provider of last resort.
- Job Description:
Meet the individual needs according to an established behavioural support plan
Developing professional relationships with individuals, their families and others in the community
Providing accurate and timely case notes so that others can provide a consistent experience for the individual
Provide support to engage consumers to link in with their community environment
Provide crisis support and intervention
Increase self-management, relationship and coping skills for consumers
Flexibility, patience, empathetic and emotional resilience
Effective listening skills & an adaptable communication style
Capability to advocate for others and build support networks
The ability to contribute positively within a team
Prior experience supporting people with mental disorders where challenging behaviours are common, either in a work or personal context
Qualifications (or actively studying) in Mental Health, Community Services, Social Work or other relevant fields is advantageous, but not required
It is a requirement of this position to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and meet all compliance requirements in relation to NDIS Work Screening, Working With Children’s Check, work rights and possess a current & valid driver’s license.
