An exciting opportunity to join the Neighbourhood House Unit to support the delivery of Community First service model. This is an ongoing position in the Neighbourhood House Unit which sits in the Community Wellbeing directorate. The position is 0.42 FTE based at Hunt Club Community and Arts Centre, Deer Park and Cairnlea Community Hub. We are seeking people who can bring their skills and experience in responding to community enquiries and support access to and participation in, Neighbourhood House spaces and programs.
- Requirement:
Mandatory
Demonstrated strong digital skills with knowledge and experience in social media, using client databases and various software packages including MS Office Suite and Outlook
Experience in liaising with and providing information within a community setting
Experience in providing administrative support within a community setting
Sound organisational skills and the ability to prioritise own work
A sound understanding of the role and function of Neighbourhood Houses and knowledge of local resources and services supporting community
Current driver’s licence
Current and satisfactory Working with Children Check and Police Records Check
Desirable
Experience in administration in a Local Government environment
First Aid Certificate Level 2
