- Job Description:
We have an opportunity for an experienced Youth Worker to supervise and support residents to engage in the Foyer and Short Stay programs to achieve independent living skills, so as to maximise their individual outcomes. Mostly providing supervision and support to residents on weekends and “after hours”, with backfilling vacancies on the staff roster. In addition, the position assists in a relief capacity with Customer Service Officer duties as required.
To be successful you will have as a minimum Diploma of Community Welfare Work or related discipline. You will need to have demonstrated ability to provide safe environments for children and young people and protect them from abuse and neglect. You will Actively participate in initiatives to maintain, build upon and promote a positive and collaborative workplace and ensure that accurate and timely documentation of all client related records and associated data is maintained.
