We currently have immediate vacancies for qualified Mental Health and Disability Support Workers to support our participants in Melbourne Suburbs - South Eastern, Northern and Southern suburbs, supporting participants in their homes and in Supported Independent Living options (SIL)
- Job Description:
Our participants have various support needsthat include: personal care, medication assistance, hoisting, capacity building todeisolate, community participation, supporting recovery, community, shopping, cooking, attending recreational and group activities, attending appointments, maintaining relationships and transportation. You will be performing a vital role in assisting participants to achieve their NDIS plan goals.
We support people for a variety of shifts 7 days a week, daytime, evening and overnight shifts.
Minimum Cert IV in Mental Health and or Disability Support
Cert in AOD will be highly regarded
Current Police and Working with Children Check
2 professional reference checks
Current full driver's license and a reliable, insured car
Commitment to providing exceptional support together with great communication skills
