- Job Description:
You are a degree qualified Social Worker who is eligible for membership with AASW and an You are also an accredited Mental Health Social Worker. Passionate about helping families who are experiencing or have experienced family violence, you have previously delivered dyadic/family developmental psychotherapy, parent child interaction therapy, theraplay, transgenerational therapy or other evidence-based approaches to child and family therapy.
You have deep knowledge and experience working with the complexities of family violence and the effects of trauma on behaviour and development of children, youth and adults. You have demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of trauma informed approaches to therapeutic interventions specific to children, youth and adults. Experience working in the child and family services sector and familiarity with key frameworks such as MARAM and Best Interests will be highly regarded.
